“While Brock was not in my class, he passed by my classroom daily, and I was quickly drawn to his super red, sweaty face after gym class. I often worried about him because he looked so flushed, but quickly learned it was all part of his competitive nature; the redder the face, the better the competition had been in class that day. After Brock’s passing, my family began to volunteer for the Brockstrong Foundation because we loved their mission of passing along kindness and helping others. It has been an uplifting way for our family to be involved in our community and spread some happiness while honoring that sweaty, cute face that passed me daily.”
